The operator launched with an in-house platform to avoid vendor lock-in and keep full control over the product. For the first year, that logic held. By year two, technical debt had accumulated faster than new features.
Most of the small engineering team’s capacity went to maintenance, hotfixes, and payment integrations that took weeks instead of days. There was no testing framework. Product ideas sat in a backlog that rarely moved. Registration, cashier, bonus logic, lobby UX: all functional but hadn’t been meaningfully updated in months.
Two consecutive quarters of flat GGR made the situation hard to ignore. The platform ran fine day to day, but it had no room left to grow into. And the longer the team waited, the more expensive any future migration would become.
Our Solution

Once live, the team gained access to capabilities their old stack never had: native A/B testing, a configurable bonus engine, flexible cashier and payment settings, built-in gamification, and a CRM layer for segmentation and campaign automation. Every experiment was designed with a dual lens: lift commercial performance and make the player experience more stable, transparent, and frictionless at the same time. Within the first month, tests were already running.
Onboarding & First-Time Deposit Tests
The registration flow hadn’t been touched in over a year. It worked, but it leaked. The team rebuilt the welcome experience using Kanggiten’s configurator: a custom landing page, a shorter and better-personalized registration form, and streamlined onboarding steps. Automated nudges recovered players who dropped off mid-signup. A redesigned verification flow via email and SMS removed a bottleneck that had been quietly suppressing approval rates for months.

On the old platform, the cashier was one of the hardest things to change. Every adjustment touched payment logic, and the team avoided it. On Kanggiten, they redesigned the mobile cashier, tested preset deposit amounts and price points, and introduced smart banners within the deposit flow.
Two waves of minimum deposit testing helped find the right threshold for their markets. A simple info badge showing bonus eligibility requirements turned into one of the highest-impact changes of the year.

Bonus & Promotion Tests
The old bonus system was hardcoded. Changing offer logic required a developer, and there was no way to measure performance per mechanic. Kanggiten’s bonus engine made each variable independently testable. A countdown timer on the welcome offer increased urgency without changing the offer value.
Adjusting the wager-to-bonus ratio improved gross margin while actually lowering bonus spend. A deposit slider placed on the homepage lifted both first-deposit rates and average transaction size.
